By joining the Artistic Swimming Athletes for with Disabilities organization, I am honored to be a part of a movement that will make history! I am a mother of two. My daughter has CRPS and chronic pain, so I know the struggles that people with disabilities go through when it comes to therapy and finding a routine they can fit in to enhance their lives. I worked for the District Attorney Juvenile Dependency Unit, which gave me the experience to be the voice for many children, several who had intellectual/cognitive disabilities. I have also been involved with other non profits where I helped raised money for orphanages in the Philippines and locally for military and poor children during the Holidays and throughout the year. One of my goals is to make sure that no child gets 'left behind' because of their special needs.
